Elizabeth the Virgin Queen

Plot:

The story begins with the problem of who would rule England after the death of the king. There were two candidates, Elizabeth and Mary.

Mary said that Elizabeth was a puritan bastard and she couldn't perform this task correctly. Mary was Catholic and tried to impose her religion to all the British people.

The puritans received a lot of punishment, like being burned and humiliated in front of all the people.

After many oppositions, Elizabeth became Queen of England, but there were a lot of interests trying to destroy her kingdom.

The people were searching for a king, because she hasn't power and personality to rule England.

One candidate was Henry of Anjou, but he was Scottish, another was Lord Robert, that loved her sincerely and did a lot of things to help her. She didn't accepted and affronted lots of problems. Walsingham was important because he helped her to solve difficult situations. They battled with France and hadn't success. One alternative to a great quantity of problems was to marry Elizabeth to the King of Spain, but she didn't wanted.

Norfolk, who was a powerful and influent member of the parliament tried to treason Elizabeth with the help of the Catholic Pope.

Turning Point:

The pope sent letters to some powerful people of England to kill Elizabeth.

Walsingham discovered the treason and brought the letters to Elizabeth, she allowed the treasoners to sign the letters, and with this excuse she ordered to kill them.

Conclusion:

Finally, Elizabeth wasn't married with someone, but made of England a strong and peaceful nation.

Personal Conclusion:

Elizabeth was a very persistent that didn't evade problems, and solved them successfully. I think that she decided correctly and objectively in critical moments, but had a serious lack of power, because the people in this times, thought that all the women had to be weak.
